Painting...

Sorry. No pics of International Banquet yet, Noel. :) They're pending Paul's sending them to me from his camera. So until the time of their arrival, I'll update a bit of what I've been doing, or trying to do, the past couple of days (and finally succeeded in doing today).

Painting my room. :)

And today was the Painting of the Ceiling. [trumpets sound fanfare]

Before I started... I moved my bed and dressers and shelf to the middle of my room. And I took this picture before I finished covering everything with sheets and newspapered my windows and the remainder of my floor...

Almost finished. Notice the HUGE difference between white and "fresh dew" green. ;) Hey, it's a start. grins Next, the border is to come off. (Bye bye horsies. *sniff. tear.*)

And to end the event, I fell off the end of my bed while trying to paint around the light ficture and into my dresser (the tall one on the right whose big oval mirror is covered with green and white sheets), breaking a scrolly piece holding up the mirror (and almost my leg. Instead I have a nice big bruise there.). Thank you, Lord, for wood glue. Otherwise I would be very very dead (the act of death being committed against me by my mom). grins All is well. Glue dries and bruises heal. :)
