Psalm 33:11
The plans of the LORD
stand firm forever,
the purposes of his
heart through all generations.
"My people perish for lack of vision..." Proverbs 29:18
"The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit." - Jesus (John 3:8)
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord...
Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us.
I really like your choice of Scripture verses. During a troubled time I collected a little folio of precious words from the Bible. The Isaiah reading you post was one of them. Another was Phil chapter 4 verse 6. But I found your blog when I was searching for Christians who like to read Christian fiction. May I suggest one to try? "Outcasts Of Skagaray" is an action adventure fantasy which I wrote out of concern for the abandoned unwanted children of the world. For a free preview, there are sample chapters on www.threeswans.com.au If you feel strongly about this, as I do, you might understand why I had to put the feelings into the form of a novel. I would be thrilled if you read and enjoyed the book, but in any event, I greet you in the Lord. My blog is http://threeswans.blogspot.com if you feel like visiting.
Holy cow, I SO wish I could have been there!!!!! Too bad I couldn't be in PA & Michigan at the same time...Overall, it was DEFINITELY a worthwhile trip. :) But I still missed being with you and Noel and the Shaffners...
