from Psalm 30 & 31
I have become like broken pottery... my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and body with grief... my strength fails... my bones grow weak...
Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love. Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I am in distress...
But I trust in you, O Lord; I say "You are my God." My times are in your hands...
O Lord my God, I call to you for help and you heal me. I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you see my affliction and know the anguish of my soul.
Psalm 33:11 The plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.
"My people perish for lack of vision..." Proverbs 29:18
"The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit." - Jesus (John 3:8)
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord...
Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us.
Isaiah 26:3, 12

One thing I do want to add... I don't use the word "pop" for carbonated beverages. I say "soda". Just to set the record straight (for anyone who might care). :)

Roadtrip to Charleston, South Carolina (aka WARM CLIMATE LOCATION)
Some very sweet pottery. Raku fired.
Me in front of one of Charleston's famed historical mansions. (I wanted to wear a skirt on a warm day - just for fun. Everyone else dresses up, so why not, right? Figures I would wear it on the chilliest day we were there... ;P )
Tour of downtown historical Charleston by carriage (mom REALLY wanted to go). Our tour guide, Mark, was HILARIOUS. Humor with a bit of sarcasm, a lot of wit, and a very defined suthun draawl.
Saturday, the warmest sunniest most beautiful day we were there, Phil, Laura, mom, and I went walking in downtown Charleston and along the water. The warm salty breeze was delicious. :)
Me and Laura. I miss my sister. :)
And you may all thank me because the warm weather we're now having is on account of me bringing it back with me. hehehe ;)
