conversation? everything from C.S. Lewis and Tolkien to "NATO Pie" (nato is nasty fermented soybean goo that many Japanese tend to have a fondness for) to Japanese/American music to what Bible verses to read when looking for wisdom in decision making... grins
and always always full of laughter. :)
(And I think the young "sushi cooks" had a nice time listening in on our part Japanese/part English conversation. They weren't very good at disguising their, um, interest (?)... curiousity (?)... silly boys.) ;)

Sounds like a blast! Except for the sashimi part...of all the Japanese food that I love, sashimi was never something I was able to acquire a taste for... :p
But I can definitely understand why the sushi cooks were so distracted from their work by your conversation and beauty! Who wouldn't be? It's a wonder any work gets done at all with such beautiful women wandering around the country. :)
