this is still pretty dang exciting!!
...hoping and praying that the face of politics would change as different perspectives, life-stories, and expressions of values are changing, encompassing broader visions, becoming more representative of the world in which we live... I'm so excited for these women and for what and who they represent!!!

As with all politicians, it's hard to say whether or not one can agree with entirely all of their views and plans, but a new perspective and fresh change are always welcome! I, too, will join you in praying hard - because I'm sure that there are plenty of people who would be ready to pounce on them if anything goes wrong, ready to blame any problems on the fact that they don't have a Y chromosome...
Here's to leadership that is more representative of the diverse world in which we live, not just the interests of a few! :)
